I just hate it that I had to cancel the March retreats but with everything around us closing down and the request that we self isolate ourselves during this virus scare, I had to do it. Thank you all for understanding and letting me know that you support my decision. It is best to stay safe after all.
I've been trying to work on some of my UFOs since having to stay in. And, I have all those vintage quilts to get quilted. I just might make a dent in those since I can't really go outside.
What are you doing during the time we would have been in retreat? Maybe we can share and chat and get through this stressful time.

I am working on making some pillows for birthday gifts and Veteran's Hospital in Florida where my sister volunteers. Also working on Block of the Month from Olive Grace Studios.

Sounds like you're staying busy, Brooke. I've been working on doing some quilting. I'm working on my last little brown bird block, too.

Today is Sunday and I'm still bummed about our retreat. We would be finishing things up today and packing to go home. Instead, we are at home doing things without any encouragement from our quilting friends or perhaps feeling a little down due to the madness going on around us.
I do hope more people will begin to share on our forum. You can comment on any of the threads posted or start a new thread. I'll write out a few ways to do things in the information section soon.
Let's make this a good day. I'll try to stop in later and see who's around.

For those that were signed up for the spring retreat/workshops, the refund check did arrive today and I will get to the bank and start issuing checks this week. If you have any questions, send me an email or a private message here on the forum.

I am working on the prayer quilt I planned to finish at the retreat. And every time I wind a bobbin and the stop motion knob works and afterwards I can get it right back to regular stitching, I say "Thank you Jean."

Oh Ginny, you are so sweet. You know I was very frustrated that the stubborn stop motion knob wasn't behaving like it should. I'm just so happy that it's working now. I did have to twist it's arm just a bit, haha.
